I wish I had a better picture of the Cathedral in Christchurch, but of course as I stood in front of it I could not imagine it in ruins. From the pictures I have seen over the last few days, not only did the tower fall down but much of the side walls have also collapsed. Last I heard the death toll in the earthquake in Christchurch was 75 and expected to rise.

It’s a gorgeous church. I must look back at my photos to see if we took one when we were there. The recent events are such a tragedy.
