The Milford Road in New Zealand can be seen in this picture twisting it’s way to Milford sound from the famous Homer Tunnel. This is an HDR imagine with no extra editing however, very few New Zealand views need editing because they’re so stunning.

Erik's parents fostered a love of traveling that started with long family road trips during the summer months. His first international trip was a family jaunt to Europe at age 14. Since 2003, he has been trying to visit all the National Park units in the lower 48 states, currently standing at 304 of 350 visited. In 2010, he took a one year break from his National Park quest to visit Israel (with side trips to Jordan & Egypt) for the month of May, on a tour inspired by The Amateur Traveler. Mr. Smith,

Spectacular photos on you travel and awesome trip reports. Wish I had your time and finance to see ALL of the national parks. I’ve only been to 12 and working my way up :D Safe travel and keep up the blog with pics as I, too, can “mind-travel” along. LoL!!!

Aspen,
Thanks! It’s taken me almost 12 years to get this far on the National Parks. That is one of the beauty of them, you can take just a couple weeks a year and eventually you’ll be able to add up a list of your own. I’ve made visiting them such a priority that I sometimes miss sights close to them, but I don’t regret it. Hopefully I’ll someday be able to go back and see many of the things I skipped to stay on my National Parks quest.

Best of Luck- You won’t be disappointed!
Erik
